About Me

I have recently moved back to the Chicago suburbs after living in Columbus, OH for many years. I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Northern Illinois University.   I moved out to Columbus to pursue a Master's degree in Social Work at The Ohio State University.  After years of providing mental health counseling, I became more aware of how the body and mind are interconnected; and I went back to school to become a Licensed Massage Therapist.

I am professionally trained with 750 hours of classroom instruction through Columbus State Community College, Massage Therapy program, with classroom concentration on Trigger Point Therapy.

I strongly believe that taking care of your physical and mental health go hand in hand.  The benefits of massage extend beyond physical relaxation:  massage also relaxes the mind and has a positive affect of your overall wellness!

I spent several years teaching group exercise classes at the YMCA. Now, I spend my free time lifting, running, and playing ice hockey.
